I'd imagine you were linked here by someone, by myself, or through one of my journals.  

I was inspired to pull out and scan my textbook by an entry on a Livejournal community as well as numerous questions being tossed 
my way regarding perspective and how to go about drawing it.   

The pages scanned and posted here come from the book Architectural Drawing and Light Construction, Third Edition [ISBN 0-12-044561-4 01] 
and have been posted here for educational purposes only.  I strongly encourage anyone who has enjoyed the posted chapter on perspective 
to seek out this book, as it covers a lot more than just perspective and how to draw buildings; lettering, line weights, freehand sketching, etc.
